Yokohama India Pvt Ltd. announced that the company will distribute 25,000 pieces of portable car dust bins to their customers in all India. This activity takes place to support the nation-wide campaign “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” (English: Clean India Mission).
In the past also, Yokohama India has always been doing “Clean Up Drive” activity with the help of employees and various local communities to clean up the surrounding area and locations near to its offices.
Realizing the importance of individual ownership and the correct attitude towards taking responsibility, the company has envisioned “Clean Up Drive” – a nationwide attempt to inspire behavioral change aimed at supporting the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, starting with keeping out surrounding clean and sanitized.
Mr. Kazuya Miyazawa, Managing Director Yokohama India Pvt Ltd. said, “Sometimes presence of appropriate equipment can encourage correct behavior. So we are sure that presence of portable car dust bin would reinforce right behavior and contribute to cleanliness.”
