Yokohama India Donated For Kerala Relief

Yokohama India Pvt Ltd. announced that the company donated a total Rs. 15,30,000 to Chief Minister Distress Relief Fund, Kerala, to support relief efforts in area affected by the severe flood in August 2018.

On 4th September, Mr. Kazuya Miyazawa, Managing Director and Mr. Sanjay Chatterjee, Head-Sales & Marketing visited Finance Minister of Kerala Dr. T. M. Thomas Isaac in Trivandrum, Kerala, and handed over the cheque.

It is said to be Kerala’s worst flood in nearly a century and over 1.2 Millions of people have been accommodated in relief camps in various parts of the state.

“We pray for speedy recovery in the affected areas and wish lives return to normalcy as soon as possible. We would also like to thank Yokohama India employees and business partners for their contribution to the relief fund” said Mr. Kazuya Miyazawa, Managing Director.
