Japan’s Yokohama Tyres Opens Second Yokohama Club Network at Kerala Yokohama India along with New Bharath Tyres have opened Kerala’s second Yokohama Club Network (YCN). Yoko Kerala           With this launch Yokohama India, a fully owned subsidiary of Yokohama Japan has opened its 34th specialised YCN in the country. The shop is located in highly industrialised region of the at Muttom , Kalamaserry, Kochi,Ernakulam (Dist), Kerala-683 106. Mr. Sanjay Chatterjee, General Manager, Yokohama India Pvt Ltd said “The opening of this YCN is a proud moment for us. YCN’s are the best way to showcase the Yokohama India offerings and product superiority”. Mr. Nithin Mathew, Owner of New Bharath Tyres said “ Our shop is equipped with the best machinery for offering any Tyre related Services. Yokohama India has started offering Indian specific Tyres and we hope that will help us in showcasing a more acceptable range” With adequate parking space, the newly opened YCN is equipped with the best machinery to offer world class wheels and Tyres related services under one roof and having adequate parking space. YCN is a specialized network based on Yokohama’s global philosophy to develop Point Of Sales to provide world class Tyre buying experience. Yokohama India currently has more than 750 point of sales which also includes 34 Yokohama Club Network (YCN) across length and breadth of India. “We wanted to provide Tyre’s that fit the Indian roads and Yokohama seemed to be a good choice for the same” further continued Mr Mathew. While tube Type still contribute a considerable share of the total passenger car radial market, Yokohama India is only competing in the tubeless Tyre market. Built with an investment of over Rs 300/- crore, this manufacturing unit at Bahadurgarh manufactures The Yokohama Earth-1 Tyres, designed to cater to the comfort and economy segment along with S. drive that will cater to the sport segment. The YCN will provide all Yokohama India offerings including The Yokohama Earth-1 tyre, which is especially “Designed for India” and now “Made In India” keeping the diverse road conditions in mind and will cater to most of the cars in B, B+ and C-segments, as well as the Geolandar series for SUVs. Globally other than replacement tyres business, Yokohama tyres are original equipment suppliers to many top of the line car manufacturers like Audi, Honda, Mercedes Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Porsche, Suzuki and Toyota.

Yokohama appoints Balaji Wheels as Mumbai’s first Club Network Balaji Wheels Yokohama India, has opened its 2nd Yokohama Club Network (YCN), its first in Mumbai, in Navi Mumbai at Nerul. The company has tied with Balaji Wheels for another YCN at Navi Mumbai. Located at Nerul, the YCN is in the centre of the key residential market area at Nerul. Chief Guest for the occasion Takeshi Harada, Director (Sales & Marketing) Yokohama India Pvt Ltd said, “During the launch of our first ever manufacturing unit in India at Bahadurgarh, we had announced our intention in opening as many Yokohama Club Networks across India.
